Carol Goldberg graduated at Gallaudet University on May 15, 2009.  We were so thrilled for her accomplishments! Wish her the best of luck in her future! 

I took pictures of Nancy Barish and her two children, Justin and Naomi today at one of the parks. Both children were so easy to work with. They were willing to pose for me even we stayed for a long time. Nancy, u must be proud of your darling children!  Already lookin' forward to taking more pictures.

Goodwill Bike

Britt, Bethany Weiner and Corinna Hill went to Goodwill and discovered this old, abandoned bike. Bethany decided to take it for $10. When they arrived my house, Corinna had to leave to have a visit with his brother. Britt and Bethany decided to wash and clean the dirty bike. Bethany's parents did not believe Bethany bought it for 10 dollars. What a good deal! (May 9, 2009)

Glen Echo Park

My Mom and I decided to stop by Glen Echo Park. It was used to be very old amusement park. They have some remains of the Dentzel Carousel, the Yellow Barn, the Bumper Car Pavilion, the Spanish Ballroom, the Arcade Complex and others.  They currently use these facilities for art and education classes. They also offer dance programs. Carousel will be open in May. I think it will be cool to go during evening hours to ride the carousel then join for dancing. 

the Seminary at Forest Glen

My Mom and I went to the Seminary at Forest Glen in Silver Spring, MD.  We fell in love with their historic place...very beautiful architectural buildings. They preserved some  statues. They have lost some buildings that cant be restored due to a lack of budget. Go to: http://www.operant.com/Seminary/main_page.html to get more information.  However, there is a housing development to create condos, townhouses and apartments to preserve the campus (http://www.nationalparkseminary.com/).  I was told the completion will be made in June.

I found this Indian statue across the street from the Seminary. I thought it is so cool to take a  picture when an Indian watches windows. 

This building is occupied with some residents. 

The windmill

Jenni and Scott Smith came to Frederick to stay for a while. Jenni loves to have some photographers who are deaf and CODA to take pictures of her and her family. She asked me to take pictures of them in downtown which I did. Something they can have pictures from Frederick area. 

Below picture of their dogs at Baker Park. Their dogs are so cute and adorable. They  make you want to hold them! 

I love Jenni's idea about the cap cover their faces. Actually, they were kissing! :) 

Ain't it look so cool especially with both dogs look at me? 

I love it especially with a view of the bottom of Mural bridge. They look so pleasant when I took pictures of them.
